Varsity Season Record 12-7

Varsity Girl's Basketball Season Summary

The varsity girls basketball team finished a successful season with an overall record of 12-7, and league record of 10-4, earning a 3rd place finish in the Niagara-Orleans league. The only league losses this season were to Wilson and Roy-Hart, which were very competitive, exciting games. The girls ended the season with a hard fought loss to Amherst in the quarter-final round of sectional play, by a score of 58-40.

Chelsea Beecher was selected to the Niagara Orleans first team All-League squad, and Paige Golden the second team All-League squad. Casey Button and Baylee Hapeman received honorable mention. The team will be losing 4 seniors, including captains Casey Button and Baylee Hapeman, along with Paige Golden and Betsey McKenna. With a strong group of returning juniors and sophomores who are committed to working hard in the off season, we are looking forward to an exciting season, and expect to be competitive in the league again next year.

J.V. Season Record 14-4

J.V. Season Summary

The Girls Junior Varsity basketball team finished with an overall record of 14-4, and a league record of 11-3. We beat every team in the league with the exception of Newfane, and split the season series with Barker. The purple eagles were lead by sophomores Brittany Allis, Tiffini Cooper and Jenn Knaak. The sophomores were supported by ten competitive freshmen that are ready to take on more of a leadership role next year.
