The
Albion Central School District has long been considered one of the finest rural
education opportunities in western New York. Situated
in the heart of Orleans County in the Village of Albion, the District includes
parts of the Towns of Albion, Gaines, Ridgeway, Barre, Carlton, Elba, Murray and
Kendall.
Grades
PreK-12 are housed in three buildings and serve the District's
approximately 2324 students on a spacious 85-acre campus.

| Experienced
and dedicated staff working in state of the art facilities combine to provide
an educational atmosphere that is second to none.
Administration and faculty alike are committed to the advancement of student life
and the academic development of each student. The
District's goal is to seek the optimal education for all children. We strive to
reach the full development of each person's intellectual, social and personal
maturity. Excellence,
we believe, is accomplished by building upon and maintaining a student-centered
learning environment where the development of each individual's potential is of
primary concern. This
striving for excellence has made the Albion Central School system the community's
center of education, vocational, cultural and recreational activity. Because
of our vital societal role, parental and community involvement is encouraged in
developing district policies and programs. Direct
communication between school and community, parent and teacher, and teacher and
student are the keys to Albion's success in education.
These keys help Albion ensure that each child's educational experience is both
an enjoyable and profitable one. Developing a team spirit has put Albion at the
top. Administration,
faculty, support staff, non-instructional employees and the Board of Education
work as an efficient, incisive unit in creating and nurturing the best possible
learning environment for the student . Albion
