Community Schools Program

A student participates in an evening  parent/child art class.

The Community Schools program works to address the academic, social, emotional and health needs of students and families through after-school, evening and Saturday events and clubs. The program provides opportunities for families to become more involved with school in order to improve student attendance, behavior, and academics, particularly in grades 2-8.  The school works closely with community partners to begin initiatives that will help families gain access to their support systems and help pursue the educational goals of our students and families.
