Summer Reading Rocks at Hoag Library!

Garth Fagan dancers perform for students.

Elementary and Middle School students were treated to an assembly sponsored by the Xerox Foundation.  The assembly featured the Garth Fagan Dance Company.

Students were mesmerized by the performers' high energy dance moves and colorful costumes.

The assembly was a kick-off for the Hoag Library's summer program, which will run from June 16 - August 4.

Hoag Library Director Betty Sue Miller and children's librarian Teresa Gaylard shared information with students about the summer program and encouraged students to Read! Explore! Create! Dance!

Every student received a calendar of events and a coupon for a free book.

Many of the events will be led by community members and teachers.  Some of the leaders include Sheriff Bower, Jim Babcock, Eileen Banker, and the Albion Fire Department.
