Extended Day Programs

In order to help students prepare for the rigorous graduation requirements, reading, writing and math are major focuses in the elementary grades throughout the school day.

Before school students can participate in reading, math, and writing programs up to four days a week during the school year.

Instruction focuses on reading, math and related writing activities and is instructed by certified teachers. The goal of the program is to help students reach the district's standards by the time they leave the grade level at the end of the year.

Other programs offered before school are 3rd, 4th and 5th grade chorus, and 4th and 5th grade band. Both chorus and band are very popular with students.
