Message from the Principal

Tis the Season…for Seniors!

While many people are getting ready for the holidays, here at the High School we are getting ready for “Senior Week.” The week of November 13th is our annual dedication to prospective graduates and it’s an important time for seniors to touch base with their counselors and plan for their future. During the week, students will be completing college applications, receiving information on financial aid, and coordinating their future plans. This week-long event is being turned into a celebration by the counselors who will entice all seniors to visit their counselor by offering daily raffles for prizes that include yearbooks and prom tickets. Capping the week will be the annual Senior Tea on Thursday November 16th and an ice-cream social on Friday at the end of the day.  Some senior students will have “Senior Hearings” the last week of November to discuss the specific plans for ensuring a path to graduation. For all students with plans to graduate in June, this is an important time of year and in a blink of an eye it will all be over and we will be celebrating once again, this time after they stroll across the stage to receive their diploma.
