The Board of Cooperative Education Services (BOCES)
is a vocational center located in Medina, NY.
Albion high school juniors and seniors attend BOCES for a half-day
to enhance their overall high school program.
The students learn hands-on technical skills to increase their
employability after graduation.
They have a range of programs to choose from such as, automotive,
food service, computer technology, and child care (to name a few).
Many programs lead to certificates, and some students become licensed
at the end of the two years.
In addition, some students spend their senior year working at
an actual work site, earning a pay check.
