This course will address the multi-level of modern day agri-science.
This class will broaden the principles of LIFE through the study
of new applications of science, technology, math agriculture,
natural resources and the environment.

ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
1 CREDIT
This course is designed to introduce students to the environment
they live in. Students will participate in a number of indoor
and outdoor activities that emphasize environmental problems and
management techniques to prevent and solve these problems. This
course will expose students to careers and educational opportunities
related to the environment. Some of the topics that will be covered
in this class will be terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, recycling,
pollution, conservation practices, forestry and wildlife. (This
class will be offered during the 2009-2010 school year)

CAD LANDSCAPING
1 CREDIT
This course will take what students have previously learned in
AutoCAD I and apply it to everyday life and modern day Landscaping.
Students should take CAD I before CAD Landscaping.

VETERINARIAN SCIENCE
1 CREDIT
Interested in being a Veterinarian, Vet Tech or just really care
about animals? Then this is the class for you. In this class students
will learn animal care, health, nutrition, anatomy and physiology,
genetics and advancements in animal science.

LEADERSHIP & RESPONSIBILITY
1 CREDIT
This course emphasizes essential leadership skills and techniques
that foster personal growth, and prepare students to take action
as global citizens. The class will identify the eight conditions
that are essential for creating individuals who are agents of
change in school, within the community and beyond Albion.

MECHANICAL SCIENCE
1 CREDIT
This course is designed to introduce students to the world of
mechanics and how they work. In this class the students will learn
the science of pneumatics, welding of metals on small engines.
Other topics included will be structures, electricity, plumbing,
and general construction. (This course will be offered
during the 2009-2010 school year)

FORENSIC SCIENCE
1 CREDIT
This class is designed for those students who have an interest
in criminal investigation. Students will use higher level thinking
skills and laboratory skills to piece together the written data
collected to form a logical conclusion in a criminal investigation.

FOOD SCIENCE
1 CREDIT
In this class students will learn the science of food and its
preparation. The students will learn the dietary guidelines to
promote their own wellness. Students will evaluate a wide variety
of foods to understand the food makeup and composition. Students
will also learn how to prepare foods and then serve them correctly.
