The 21st Annual Orleans County Academic Excellence Awards dinner was held at Hickory Ridge on May 17, 2007. The top 10 students from each of the five schools in Orleans County gathered to celebrate their academic accomplishments.

Students listened to guest speaker Jeffrey Martin. Mr. Martin is a local attorney and the 1973 valedictorian of Holley High School. In his speech he encouraged students to thank their parents for their success, encouraged them not to lose sight of the contributions teachers, coaches and fellow students have had on their success, and to never underestimate the quality of the education they received from their school.

Students received a certificate and medallion from the Orleans County School Board members. They also received certificates from Senator George Maziarz and Assemblyman Stephen Hawley.
