Coach's Comments: Bailey helped lead the team to an undefeated week by pacing the scoring. He eclipsed the 20 point mark twice last
week and over the three games he averaged 20.3 points. Bailey also lead us in rebounding, averaging 9.3 rebounds over the 3 games.
Coach's Comments: Josh finished first in the 500 free at both the Barker and Roy-Hart meets. He also won the 200 freestyle in both the Medina and Newfane meets.
Coach's Comments: Dallas finished 1st in the 100 fly at both the Barker and Roy-Hart meets.
Coach's Comments: Siarra finished first in the 500 free at both Barker and Roy-Hart meets.
Coach's Comments: Aquil has developed into a dominant player this season. He is one of the members who is leading the team in scoring, assists, rebounding, and blocked shots. Aquil plays an important role and is a tremendous pleasure to have on the team.
Coach's Comments: Alyson has worked hard all season to be the best version of herself that she can be. Each week she has gotten more and more comfortable. Her season started to turn the corner during our second Newfane game when she knocked down a couple of confident shots towards the end of the game. In our last game against Lyndonville, she scored the two game winning baskets late in the fourth quarter for a two point victory. The sky is the limit! Keep working hard, Alyson!
Coach's Comments: Sydney’s return after missing last season has been huge for our basketball team. She brings a toughness and intensity that our team desperately needs. She is our leading scorer and sets the tone in the middle and in the paint for our team. In our last game against Alden, she scored 6 of her 8 points in the second half helping us to score 16 points in both quarters. Her +/- score is the best of anyone on our team over the last two games, which means our team is much better when she is on the floor. Keep up the good work, Sydney!
Coach's Comments: Mia won the 50 free against Roy-Hart and Barker.
Coach's Comments: Rylee took first place in the 100 breaststroke at both of her meets this week against Barker and Roy-Hart.
Coach's Comments: Nick has developed into a dominant player this season. He is one of the members who is leading the team in scoring, assists, rebounding, and blocked shots. Nick plays an important role and is a tremendous pleasure to have on the team.
Coach's Comments: Jahmeek played a very pivotal role for the team last week. Due to some injuries he was forced into more action
than usual and made some very key winning plays throughout the week. Jahmeek was pivotal on the defensive end anchoring the defense in the paint and coming up with almost 2 steals a game. He also made his presence felt on the offensive end contributing with some scoring and averaging over 2 offensive rebounds a game over
the week.
Coach's Comments: S’Koi rebounded from an ankle injury to become the team’s top scorer in Friday night’s game against Medina. S’Koi attended all practices while injured and made sure she knew what was going on so that she would be able to insert herself seamlessly once healed. S’koi scored 12 points to help lead her team to victory against Medina. She played with a ton of heart and gave her all. Great job, S’Koi!
Coach's Comments: Abby has been a huge addition to the Varsity Basketball team this year. She has given us a consistent, calm, steady point guard presence on the court. She scored a career high 18 points on Saturday in a big overtime victory against Akron. She also added 3 rebounds, 3 assist, 9 deflections, and 2 steals. She had the best assist to turnover ratio in the game. Great job, Abby!
Coach's Comments: Kenzie is one of the smallest girls on the team, but she has made her BIG force known on the court. Kenzie´s
intensity is unmatched. She gives 100% and goes ALL OUT in every aspect of the game-practice, on the court, and even on the bench cheering on her teammates. Kenzie is often found grabbing rebounds from players twice her height. I cannot wait to see where her work ethic takes her in the future!
Coach's Comments: Alonzo scored two crucial goals for the team during last week’s games against Roy-Hart and Newfane. His goals and outstanding play helped seal the victory in both games. He works tremendously hard on his skills and developed into a tough two-way player that can change the moment of the game at any time!

Coach's Comments: Landin earned honorable mention honors at the Niagara-Orleans Championships meet this past weekend. He was the fastest freshman in the race. Landin’s competitive attitude pushed him throughout the season to be the best runner he can be.
Coach's Comments: Nikki was a key forward in our wins against Springville in sectional quarterfinals and Depew in sectional semi finals. Nikki played the target position this year which is a specialized position where she had to read the gaps on the field to check back and feed other players in difficult positions as we attacked. Nikki battled injuries all season and even with that, she had 3 goals and 6 assists. Nikki showed grit and determination this season as she put forth her very best effort even when faced with adversity. Nikki is the type of player who works all year around to get better to make her teammates and her team as successful as they can possibly be. Nikki is willing to play any position that her team needs her in and her teammates know they can count on her unwavering work ethic. Nikki shows this work ethic in her academics and in soccer.
Coach's Comments: Alex has been the sole goal-scorer this season. Alex is determined every single game to get that ball into the net. His attitude has improved over the past year and it has earned him a spot as a captain. Alex’s athleticism enables him to help the rest of the team with defending while maintaining the ability to run the ball up on offense when the opportunity arises.
Coach's Comments: Tyler has spent the last four weeks becoming the best soccer player that he can be. Tyler does not only rely on his incredible athleticism to get him through the soccer season, but wants to know more about the game and how he can contribute to the success of the team from a soccer standpoint. Tyler has been putting in work outside of practice to fine tune his soccer skills, and his work has really shown through in games. Tyler earned himself a starting position and rarely comes off of the field. His attitude is one for everyone to look up to.

Coach's Comments: Nora Hapeman was a key player in our wins against Barker, Newfane, and RoyHart this week. Nora scored a beautiful side-net goal against Barker and assisted Abigail Scanlan in a goal against RoyHart. Nora plays defensive center-mid and is brilliant at stealing the ball from opponents when they least expect it. She has extremely precise passes and great vision of the field. In practices and in games, there is never a time when she is not working her absolute hardest and that same work ethic is shown in her academics. Nora is always encouraging those around her and doing anything she can to help her team be the best they can be.

Coach's Comments: Emily Harling was a key defensive player in our wins against Akron, undefeated Wilson, and Barker this week. As a center defender, Emily plays with composure and precision that sets our defense apart from other teams. When Emily steps to the ball, her teammates know that she is going to get it and find their feet. At practice, Emily always looks around to make sure that everyone has a partner or a group, and that everyone is included. She is the first to volunteer to go to a group that doesn’t have enough players and she consistently reaches out to her teammates to include them. Emily shows this caring and committed character in her academics, in soccer, and in everything she does.

Coach's Comments: Alanna placed first in the season opener race against Wilson and Royhart. She ran away from the competition, leading the girls team to a start of 1-1 for the season.

Coach's Comments: Alyson Knaak was a key player in our wins against Barker, Newfane, and RoyHart this week. As an outside defender, Aly makes runs up the line to set teammates up to score and she has two assists this season by doing this. In any game when there is a strong forward on the other team, Aly can stop them from attacking. Aly shows an extremely strong work ethic all year around in soccer, basketball, softball, and in her academics. Aly can play an entire game with no breaks and never seems to tire. Her teammates can always count on her to give 110% and to encourage them in everything they do.

Coach's Comments: Olivia has put together a solid first half of this soccer season. As a midfielder she has gotten better each and every game. She is making better decisions, making faster and more accurate passes, and taking advantage of her scoring opportunities. She stepped up and played well for a game on Varsity against Akron, and then returned to JV and played her best all around game so far against Wilson (which included an important goal on a strong and well placed kick). Great job Olivia!

Coach's Comments: Camryn has had a fantastic season from the striker position. She has been competing relentlessly on every single possession, fighting through injury all season. Most recently she had a HUGE game in an important league contest against Roy Hart. She scored on a shot from about 20 yards out and had a beautiful crossing assist for the only two goals we scored in a tough 2-1 victory. She was the difference maker in that game. “Camryn is exactly the type of person, player, and competitor that any coach loves to have on their team."
Coach's Comments: Charley London was a key defender in our wins against Springville in sectional quarterfinals and Depew in sectional semi finals. Charley was a very important part of our defense that kept East Aurora to four goals, their second lowest scoring game of the season. As a center defender, Charley does an excellent job reading the play, stepping to the ball, and passing to her teammates in a very composed way. Charley is the type of player who goes above and beyond in everything that is asked of her. She leads by example by always giving 100% effort, always being respectful to those around her, and always contributing to creating a positive atmosphere. Charley demonstrates these qualities in academics, soccer, and in competition dance.
Sydney Mulka
Coach's Comments: Sydney Mulka made key saves in our 4-2 win over Newfane and in our 2-1 loss in double overtime against RoyHart. Sydney leads her team from the back with defensive directions and with contagious encouragement. Sydney practices with intensity and precision that is an example of her dedication to her teammates. Sydney demonstrates strong sportsmanship, academic diligence, and a hard work ethic in everything she does.

Coach's Comments: Jamie had her best game of the season against Newfane last week. She has scored several goals this season, but during this game she led with assists. She had the first three assists of the game getting her team off to a great start! Jamie does a lot to lead and get her team going in practice and pre-game. She is definitely the vocal leader on our team, and helps to keep everyone organized and on the same page. Jamie has challenged herself to grow as a leader, taking steps to try to be more positive during tough competition. I believe that her efforts in this area will continue to help her to grow and pay off in a positive way in the future.

Coach's Comments: Leah was a key defensive and offensive player in our wins against Akron, undefeated Wilson, and Barker this week. She had one goal and one assist in our win against Barker. Leah's played three positions this season: target, defensive center mid, and center defender (two positions every game) and she's always willing to play any position that her team needs her. Leah demonstrates the “I Got Your Back” mentality in everything she does, on the field and off the field. She consistently encourages others when they make a mistake, works to make her teammates successful on the field, and always demonstrates strong character in the face of adversity. Leah shows this drive to be the best she can be in academics, soccer, and softball.
Coach's Comments: Jahmeek has just earned his second assist, which is the team high. Jahmeek has been an unstoppable force on the field as a right midfielder. He has also done a wonderful job of taking over the sweeper position when the regular sweeper is injured. Jahmeek is always trying to improve and understand the game better.

Coach's Comments: Reuben placed 1st in the race against Barker and Akron. The last time an Albion runner has placed first against Barker dates back to 2012. He led his team to a victory over Akron and a close lossto Barker.

Coach's Comments: Melissa ran her best race of the year earning 2nd team All-league Honors and running a personal best of more than a minute. Melissa’s commitment and hard work throughout the season definitely paid off when at the end.

Coach's Comments: Iris has been the ROCK of our defense over the first three games of our season. She has completely locked down her side of the field, playing with toughness, intelligence and determination. She is our best all-around defender, has a high soccer IQ, and offensively has made accurate passes in important situations.

Coach's Comments: S’koi ran almost a two minute 5k personal best on Saturday. She has improved every race throughout the season. S’koi works hard and has a great attitude everyday and it shows from her great race on Saturday.

Coach's Comments: Abigail showed perseverance by scoring two goals in our game against Akron on Oct. 13 when our team was trying to come back from behind. Abby is passionate about the game, but even more passionate about playing for her teammates. She holds herself to the highest level of play and her teammates know they can always count on her to give 110%. Abby shows this commitment to excellence in both practices and games. She can often be found making her teammates laugh, encouraging them when they are down and giving them directions to help them. Abby currently has four goals and two assists in four games. Abby is a key leader on our team, both in skill and character.
Coach's Comments: Taylor has played great defensively over the last few games. She has made great reads, good decisions with the ball, and displayed growing confidence in games against Akron and Wilson. Opposing offenses have had a tugh time getting by her! She is a big reason why we have held opponents to two goals total over the last two games. Keep up the good work Taylor!
Coach's Comments: Colburn is the voice of the team. He's been absolutely wonderful in being the example of how to conduct oneself on the sideline. He is always cheering his teammates on and is often the most enthusiastic. He is a prime example of having the ¨we not me¨ mentality; Colburn´s spirit will be very hard to replace next year!

Coach's Comments: Brittany Spies-Hunt scored our only goal against Wilson by making a far post run and one-touching the ball into the net. This was a key goal in helping us gain momentum after being down 3-0. Brittany shows a growth mindset by always working to improve and doing that with enthusiasm. She can often be seen helping and encouraging her teammates, during wins, but especially during losses. Brittany leads by example with her work-ethic, determination, and kindness.

Coach's Comments: Claire Squicciarini won the ball repeatedly and set her teammates up to shoot in our 4-2 win over Newfane and in our 2-1 loss in double overtime against RoyHart. Claire plays with a selfless attitude that is demonstrated in the way that she steals the ball from the opponent and passes to teammates. Claire’s favorite thing to do on the soccer field is “assist others” and that is demonstrated both on and off the field. Claire comes to practice with a dedication to supporting her teammates by encouraging them, getting equipment for them, being kind to them, and pushing them on the field with her unwavering effort. Claire demonstrates strong sportsmanship in the face of adversity. She is a leader to her teammates on the field, off the field, and in school.

Coach's Comments: Abby has been dominant in goal over the first two games of our soccer season. She has played every minute and dedicated outstanding toughness, work ethic and determination. She competes at a high level every practice, setting the standard for her team-mates, leading by example every day.
