The high school music department presented their annual Veteran's Day concert to a large audience, many included veterans.

The concert spotlighted American music and American composers.

Students performed patriotic songs including the "Star Spangled Banner,"  "God of Our Fathers" and "America the Beautiful."

Veterans stood up to be recognized by the audience as Superintendent Michael Bonnewell thanked them for their service.

Each branch of the military was recognized individually and stood to applause.

Flags for each branch of the military hung on the stage during the concert.  Brad Nickerson is on the right.

High School teacher and US Army Veteran Brad Nickerson narrated Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address as the symphonic band performed "Lincoln At Gettysburg."  He is seen here shaking band conductor Mike Thaine's hand and giving the band a "Challenge Coin" from his unit.
