The District transports over 490,000 miles of regular bus runs annually, the equivalent of 200 trips to Tampa, Florida and back. Albion Central School buses are owned by the District and are managed contractually by Student Transportation of America. Bus maintenance and inspections are controlled by the N.Y.S. Department of Transportation under the strictest guidelines.

BUSES RETURN TO ASSIGNED SEATING
Beginning Wednesday, September 22, all students using bus transportation will have assigned seating as was done for the 2020-2021 school year. Assigned seats will help reduce possible quarantine numbers while we work to efficiently manage COVID-19 protocols set forth by the health department. Thank you for your cooperation in continuing to keep our schools and community safe.
BULLY FREE BUSES
Bus drivers wearing "Bully Free Bus" shirts to reinforce with students that bullying and other inappropriate behaviors will not be tolerated on our buses.
BUS DRIVER APPRECIATION BREAKFAST
On March 19th, district administrators and Board of Education members held a breakfast for bus drivers after they completed their morning bus run.
The bus drivers are the first and last people our children see each school day.
They are an important part of the day as they set a positive tone while providing safe transport to and from school during all types of weather conditions.
Administrators and school board members expressed their appreciation to the drivers on behalf of the student body.
BUS DRIVERS HOLD FOOD DRIVE
Our bus drivers and staff held a food drive. They collected and generously donated turkeys and additional food items to the local food pantry.
