Teaching Positions:

Fifth Block for Credit Recovery English - VIRTUAL (Current ACS employees only)


  • Must be a current ACS Teacher
  • Must be able to recruit students
  • Must be knowledgeable in subject area
  • Evidence of high student success/pass rate
  • Must provide Regents prep
  • Must be able to facilitate and support at-risk and/or under-motivated students
  • Must support students in completion of assignments, projects and homework
  • Must connect with students who are absent
  • Must maintain a minimum enrollment of eight (8) students

Dates: Beginning October 20, 2020 through January 14, 2021; 20 sessions; 2:40 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

Salary: $30 per hour plus ½ hour planning for each session

Middle School - Cleaner/Building Night Leader (internal transfer only)

Qualifications:  High School Diploma or Equivalent, able to perform routine grounds, maintenance, tasks and other related work as required.

Non-Competitive, Civil Service Appointment.
