Hoag Library's Summer Reading Program Spotlights Football and Softball Teams

A game of catch at Hoag Library.

The Hoag Library's Reading Rocks! summer reading program features guest readers, school and community groups.

This week John DePuy and Kirk Ellision representated the varsity football team along with their coach Ocie Bennett.

John read "Your Healthy Plate," and Kirk read "My Weird School's Fast Facts: Sports" to the attendees.

After the story they went out back and practiced stretching, catching and running drills with the students.

The week before, varsity softball team members and coaches read stories and played softball.

Several teachers got in the action and were guest readers.

The summer program ends August 4th with a 3pm celebration.
