Officer Chris Glogowski
Albion's CSD's School Resource Officer
About Officer G:
My name is Christopher Glogowski, the students call me Officer G, and I am the School Resource Officer for the Albion Central School District. I started my career with the Village of Holley Police Department in 2016 and in 2018 I was fortunate enough to transfer to the Village of Albion Police Department.
While working for the Village of Holley Police Department, I made it a personal goal of mine to rebuild the connection between the police department and school district. During that time, I realized that I have a passion for working with kids. In 2019, Albion School District announced the School Resource Officer will be reinstated at the district and I was thrilled to be offered the position.
As your School Resource Officer, I will be focusing on school safety, security and building positive relationships with students, parents and staff members. I will be interacting with students throughout the day; whether it be in the cafeteria, hallway or visiting classrooms. You will also see me at athletic events and any other event the district would like me to attend.
I enjoy spending my time with the students to help them understand that while a School Resource Officer has to enforce certain rules, I am very approachable and very easy to talk to. My primary office is located inside the Elementary School, but you will see me at all three buildings.
I would like all students and parents to know I am available to talk to at any time of the day. While I may not be in the same building, all staff members have a direct way to contact me. If you see me around, stop by and say hello!
