Vocational/Technical Education (BOCES)

Albion Central School District offers juniors and seniors the opportunity to obtain vocational and technical training at the Orleans Niagara BOCES Career and Technical Training Center in Medina. Several programs are offered including Cosmetology, Auto Mechanics, Building Trades, Culinary Arts, and more. Students spend a half day on site, with juniors attending in the afternoon and seniors in the morning.

Phase 1:

During the fall of their sophomore year, students can sign up to attend a presentation at the high school on the programs offered at BOCES. 

Sophomores, please take a moment to view the informational video that BOCES has put together. The video highlights the various vocational programs and valuable opportunities that BOCES has to offer. Then, click on the Google link below to complete the form requested.

Phase 2:

If a student is interested in checking out any of the programs, he/she can sign up for a field trip to visit BOCES in January.

UPDATE: Sophomores - if you think that you might be interested in attending BOCES next year, we have an opportunity for you to attend an upcoming tour at the Medina site.  

Interested Gold students can attend on Tuesday, Feb. 23 and our Purple students can go on Thursday, Feb. 25.  If you are a remote student who would like to attend, please call the Counseling Office. 

Please stop in the Counseling Office to pick up a permission slip if you would like to attend or for more information.
