On December 3rd, two middle school students were recognized by the Board of Education with character and leadership awards.
Mr. Pritchard introduced the students to board members during the awards portion of the December meeting.
Kelsey Froman received the leadership award. Kelsey is described by her teachers as being a peson of high effort and high character. She consistently leads by example and helps others in need. She is always kind and is well respected by her peers and teachers. She displays leadership qualities in the classroom as she maintains a high honor roll average while balancing her involvement in many extra-curricular activities. She takes pride in everything she does and she does it all with a smile and serves as an amazing role model for all students. Congratulations Kelsey!
Makayla Klatt received the character award. Makayla is a wonderful example of a student with growth mindset and grit. She has a strong work ethic, is resilient, and has a positive attitude. She is kind to others and happily volunteers to help students whenever they are confused about something in class. She was a member of the modified volleyball team this fall. She always gave her best effort and worked hard to improve her skills. Congratulations Makayla!
