Congratulations to Kimberly Weese and Jason Anstey. They are this year's Albion Middle School "Triple C" Award recipients.
The "Triple C" Award is given by New York State Attorney General Letitia James.
The Attorney General sent letters of commendation and certificates to both students. They received their awards at home and sent in these photos.
The "Triple C" Award celebrates students who display courage, character and commitment in their daily lives at home and in school.
In her letter, the Attorney General congratulated the students for setting such good examples to others. She commented, "This year, whether you chose it or not, your generation has been cast in the role of trailblazer. From expanding the boundaries of online learning, to finding creative ways to connect and bond with your peers, to accepting the tremendous responsibility of keeping your family, friends, and communities safe by social distancing; you have already changed the world. There is no limit to what you will achieve next."
She went on to say, "I want to thank you and your fellow students for the inspiration you have proved us all during these difficult times. By facing the challenges that have been thrust upon you with grace and determination, your generation is providing us with much needed hope."
She ended her letter by saying, "I look forward to seeing the positive impact you will make on our world."
Congratulations Kimberly and Jason! We also look forward to seeing the positive you will make in the future in Albion and beyond.
