Dear Albion Parent/Guardian:
We want to thank you for being partners with us. Your cooperation and support has allowed us to have a positive start to the 2020-21 school year! As a district we are focused on continuous improvement because we know that if we continue to grow and get better, we will be more effective in meeting our students' needs; especially with remote learning. During the parent forums in August, I mentioned that we would be better on Day 2 than Day 1 and that we would be better on Day 10 than Day 9. We are still committed to being better and intend to continue on the path where your child's progress is a priority. Every day our staff works to find strategies and tools to assist your child with learning whether it is in-person or remote. To that end, I invite you to participate in another ThoughtExchange. The question we are looking for your response to is: "What would you suggest the Albion district focus on as we work to develop and improve in the next several weeks?" Please use this link: https://my.thoughtexchange.com/860115172 to participate in the ThoughtExchange.
Many of our families have requested to be included in our text alert system. If you are already signed up, there is no need to change anything, but if you have not signed up for this system you can do so by clicking this link: https://albionk12.regroup.com/signup or by finding the "Regroup" location under the Directory tab on the district website. We use this alert system to notify you of significant announcements that get placed on the website.
Along with this letter we have included a copy of our October calendar. Please note the dates for student pictures. You should find a day reserved for each purple and gold group. In addition, our remote learners will also have an opportunity to get their pictures taken in a socially distanced setting in the building. All personnel involved will be wearing face coverings except for the student during the taking of the picture only.
