In the spirit of the NCAA's March Madness, middle school library media specialist Mrs. DeBoard is holding a Tournament of Books.
Every day during English class, students are encouraged to access a Google form to vote for that day's matchup. Students are given a photo of the book cover and a synopsis to vote for the book they are most interested in. The contest will end with the naming of the 2022 Book of the Year as voted by students.
Mrs. DeBoard created a bulletin board outside the library to track the tournament's progress. The event provides for a fun and creative way for students to learn about different books and genres.
