We are loving the eagle-eye view at the middle school! Kamie Feder's art classes spruced up the school's courtyard with a string art installation for their first project earlier this school year. Students worked together to weave yarn into the chain link fence before mapping out and installing a giant, 36'x24', string art eagle in the mulched area. #PurpleEaglePride
Thank you to all who came out to the Harlem Wizards game in support of our Albion Basketball Boosters Club. Shoutout to our Albion Faculty team! 🏀👏🔥 Here are some photos from both the ES assembly and the game.

Mr. Rodland's MS social studies classes have been learning about Ancient Egypt. To test their knowledge, students took part in a mummification demonstration where they acted out the process step-by-step on their test mummy. Luckily, we have our very own resident pharaoh (aka Mr. Rodland) to enthusiastically teach on the topic!

October is National Principals Month! Thank you to our building principals for their leadership, support and dedication to our students and staff. We appreciate all that they do!

Representatives from Personal Touch, our food service provider, recently stopped by our MS lunches to introduce students to one of the new October menu items. Students enjoyed sampling Pad Thai and learning more about its ingredients and cultural origins. More menu items will be introduced during School Lunch Week in October.
Reminder!!➡️ Breakfast and lunch is FREE every day for all students in all of our buildings.
Personal Touch also recently launched an improved menu site, accessible through our Food Service webpage, where you can easily view ingredients for all items.
One week away! 📢ACSD Homecoming Week begins Monday, Oct. 6. Themed dress up days for each building are as pictured. Let's see that #PurpleEaglePride !

Middle School students recently gathered for an assembly where they were introduced to Leader in Me, a districtwide initiative that focuses on 7 habits to help students work on personal development, goal setting, and interdependence to help achieve their highest potential. Students helped lead the assembly and shared what to expect and how to get more involved. We are excited to utilize this program to continue to foster a culture of school-wide leadership in our buildings!

The girls are working on collecting data on all Revolutionary War soldiers buried in Orleans County. The project, in partnership with the county, includes applying for and installing four NYS roadside markers, replacing missing headstones, and providing flag markers.
