Release written by senior internship student Natalie Baron

Fire Safety Week was a fun and educational experience for everyone involved.

Elementary School students got to participate in the learning by creating presentations about how to survive in a fire, featuring key phrases such as “Get out, stay out!” and steps to follow in the event of an escape.

Presentation winners got to ride to school in a fire truck with their teacher last week. Albion and Barre’s fire departments chipped in to transport the students. The winners of this reward were Kyalee Moyer, Charlie McGuire, Ariana Star Grosskopf, John Santiago, Benjamin Elliott, Finley Baird, Ashlyn Nottingham, Jenna Snook, and Ella Bruski.

Congratulations to all of the winners and all students who made wonderful presentations for Fire Safety Week. Stay safe!
