Senior student-athlete S’koi Sanders-Smith has been named an ADPRO Sports Section VI All-WNY Scholar Athlete for the winter season, as announced by the selection committee and Section VI.
Sanders-Smith was nominated by her basketball coach, Mr. Lucian Price, for distinguishing herself both academically and athletically. Graduating high school a year early in the top ten of the Class of 2023, she plans to attend the University at Buffalo for business and finance. Along with basketball, Sanders-Smith is involved in volleyball, track and field, Diversity Club and National Honor Society.
Students must have a grade-point average of 90 or above for the previous six semesters and be a starter or significant contributor in their sport in order to be eligible for the award. The scholar-athlete team is open to seniors from both public and private schools across Section VI.
