For the first time in five years, Albion Central School District’s Varsity Boys Swim Team was recently named Niagara-Orleans All-League Co-Champions for the 2023-24 swim season.
With just eight members, four of them seniors, the Purple Eagles are the smallest team to ever take the league. The team went 7-1 for the season, tying and conceding their only loss to Roy-Hart.
Team members include the following (pictured above, left to right: (front) Matthew Kania, Justin Kania, Finn McCue, Leo Bolton, Mason Giattino, (back) Joel Slack, Mark Ames, and Logan Kast.
