Two Albion seniors are serving as Student Ambassadors for the Rochester Broadway Theatre League (RBTL) this school year. Representing Albion's theatre department are Lily Brigham and Adelaide Pettit. They are among 25 students selected from local area schools, all having applied for the program for an opportunity to explore careers in the theater industry, provide support during shows at the West Herr Auditorium Theatre, help with digital content creation and more.
"This is such a well-deserved honor for both of them," said Kailey Winans, Albion's Theatre Director. "They consistently demonstrate leadership, kindness, dedication, and school spirit, making them wonderful representatives of our school community. We are excited to see them take on this opportunity and know they will represent Albion with pride!"
About: The Student Ambassador program is the newest education program at RBTL, inviting high school students to become the welcoming face of RBTL, creating memorable experiences for guests. Beyond greeting audiences, Ambassadors gain a unique, behind-the-scenes look at live theatre, meeting industry professionals, discovering what it takes to bring a show to life, and connecting with fellow students who share a passion for the arts. Along the way, participants develop valuable lifelong skills, from communication and teamwork to confidence and leadership – all while being part of something exciting and unforgettable.
