Implemented just last school year as part of the districtwide Leader in Me initiative, their work has been purposeful and action-oriented in efforts to support a strong, positive, and student-centered school culture. They empower their peers to take ownership of making the school a safe, welcoming, and engaging place to learn and lead. The team allows students to be at the center of leadership, service, and school improvement. It nurtures well-rounded learners who are prepared to lead with confidence, character, and compassion.

Mrs. Flagler's 5th grade class set a January reading goal of 2,026 pages and they are excited to share that they crushed it, reading 2,500 pages! 📚👏
They had to read each day, log their pages, and write a summary. Each time they read a total of 100 pages, a sprinkle would be colored in on their ice cream poster. They enjoyed some ice cream together to celebrate. 🍨
Kindergarteners recently visited Medina Hospital for the Teddy Bear Clinic! While there, they visited the pharmacy and talked about medicine safety. They visited the x ray department and looked at several different x rays. They even got to bring their stuffed animals to the nurses to help address any injuries or illnesses. The clinic helps to minimize any fear of medical professionals and the hospital environment, and to teach healthy habits. 🩺🏥
Districtwide Alert: Due to pending inclement weather conditions, there will be no school on Tuesday, January 20. The district will be closed and all after school activities are cancelled. Regents Exams for Tuesday, Jan. 20 will be rescheduled. An updated schedule will be shared via ParentSquare.
