Albion HS Interact students had the opportunity to participate in a urban/rural exchange program with East High School. Students from both schools had a great time meeting each other, touring each others schools, and learning about different cultures and lifestyles through interactive activities. While at Albion, students heard from guest speaker Ayesha Kreutz from the Frederick Douglass Foundation who discussed leadership, goal setting, and urban/rural perspectives. Students got to experience a bit of the local community by visiting Poverty Hill Farms, Panek Farms and Mount Albion Cemetery. Our schools have been participating in the exchange program since 2010.
