Albion Central School District residents voted on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 to approve the 2025-26 school budget and to elect three members to the Board of Education.
All six budget propositions passed. Lauren Stirk (248), John Kast (241), and Christopher Kinter (189) were elected to fill the three available board seats. Stirk and Kast will begin their five-year term this July and Kinter will serve the remaining two years in David Sidari's interim term.

The 2025-26 school budget passed by a margin of 231-48, the bus purchase passed 243 – 45, the Hoag Library budget passed 222-65, the establishment and initial funding of a new capital improvements reserve fund passed 225-59, the establishment and initial funding of a new technology equipment reserve fund passed 228-59, and the multiyear transportation contract proposal passed 230-44.
The total budget comes in at $44,750,485 with no tax increase for district residents, marking the 17th time in the past 19 years that the tax levy has either decreased or remained the same.
