Eleven students from Albion Central School’s (Albion CSD) Tech and Multimedia Clubs traveled to Erie Community College (ECC) for the annual Tech Wars competition.
On Tuesday, March 20, more than 950 students from schools across WNY attended the ECC Tech Wars where they honed their technical skills. Our Purple Eagles participated in competitions including Air cars, bridges, video challenge, photography, a mystery challenge and logo design.
William Fisher (above) placed first in the video event with Kamryn Peruzzini (below, left) and Lena Grillo (below, right) placing second in the mystery event.
This competition is part of a triad of tech competitions our students attend, hosted between Niagara County Community College (NCCC), Genesee Community College, and ECC. These competitions provide students with the opportunity to work through the design and engineering process.
