On April 18, Owen, Emma and Moses proudly represented Albion at the Regional Spelling Bee in Newfane, NY, with Emma scoring in the top 8.
"Their achievement reflects not only their strong spelling skills, but also their dedication, focus, and willingness to challenge themselves academically," said Ryan Gilbert, 4th grade Grade ELA and social studies teacher. "Preparing for the regional bee took weeks of practice, perseverance, and courage. Standing on that stage among talented students from across the region was a remarkable accomplishment, and they handled the experience with confidence and composure. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and the way they supported one another throughout the journey. Their effort, determination, and positive attitude truly embody the spirit of our school, and we look forward to seeing all they continue to achieve."
