Albion Athletics hosted its annual Commitment Day where five student-athletes from Albion's class of 2026 announced their decision to continue their education this fall while competing at the collegiate level for their respective sports. ACSD thanks all five student-athletes, their families and coaches for their years of commitment and contributions to the Albion athletic programs and wishes them success in their next chapter. Kaitlin Bennett, Kaiden Froman, Nathan Gibson, McKinley Knight, and Mia Standish were each joined by their families and coaches to celebrate the exciting milestone.
Kaitlin Bennett committed to the softball team at Monroe Community College where she will study Business Administration. She was a utility player for Albion, a N-O All-League Honorable Mention and will graduate with academic honors.

Kaiden Froman committed to the baseball team at Genesee Community College where he will study Business Administration. He played center field for Albion and was named First and Second Team N-O All-League outfielder. Froman also participated in football for Albion and will graduate with academic honors.

Nathan Gibson committed to the baseball team at Erie Community College where he will study Construction Management. He played pitcher and catcher for Albion and was named First Team N-O All-League two-time honoree, Second Team N-O All-League honoree, and All-Western NY honorable mention. Gibson also participated in golf and basketball for Albion.

McKinley Knight committed to the soccer team at Genesee Community College where she will study Health Studies. She played outside midfield for Albion and was a two-time Scholar Athlete. Knight also participated in softball for Albion.

Mia Standish committed to the soccer team Genesee Community College where she will study Physical Education. She played right back for Albion and was a Scholar Athlete. Standish also participated in wrestling and track & field for Albion.
