On June 16, the Batavia Daily News and Livingston County News hosted the third annual award ceremony for their “Teen of the Week” program at Main St. 56 Theater in Batavia.
Throughout the school year, students from the GLOW region were recognized not only for their academic achievements, but also for their leadership, hard work and dedication to community service. Each week, one male and one female student were highlighted in the Batavia Daily News and Livingston County News for their extracurricular activities, philanthropy and personal pursuits.
Students, their families, teachers and guidance counselors were invited to celebrate and attend the awards ceremony, where two winners, one male and one female, were named “Teen of the Year”. Albion senior Julia Button was selected as the 2025-26 female recipient. Albion CSD is extremely proud of Julia for receiving this tremendous recognition.
