A poisoning can happen to anyone, at any time. The UNYPCC is a 24/7, free & confidential poison helpline (1-800-222-1222). Its Public Education and Outreach team would like to remind our school community of a number of helpful resources ahead of summer.
Poison Prevention Training - It's free. It's brief and it includes three robust tool kits with lesson plans, videos, activities, flip charts, and more. Yes, it's perfect for a teacher but it's also great for school nurses, PTO/PTA, SROs, before & after school coordinators and parents.
The UNYPCC website has a number of helpful resources like webinars, newsletters, current trend resources, as well as an opportunity to request free material.
