Albion Central School District will once again provide free breakfast and lunch for all students throughout the 2026-27 academic year.
As part of the federal Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program, each student in grades PreK-12 will be offered a free breakfast and lunch every school day.
"Having reliable access to free, well-balanced meals is extremely beneficial, ensuring students get the nourishment needed to stay focused in the classroom," said Mickey Edwards, Superintendent of Albion Central Schools. "We are glad that we are able to participate in this program once again and help fuel a bright future for our students."
There is no action required in order to be eligible to receive free meals, but it is important that families who meet the income eligibility guidelines still complete the Household Income Eligibility Form, located on our Food Services webpage, to support overall district funding opportunities and eligibility for program participation such as this. This form is also provided at Back-to-School Night and by the Registrar's Office.
