Dear Purple Eagles,
Yesterday our country experienced another heinous act of violence at an elementary school in Texas, resulting in senseless loss of life. It was a tragedy that is almost unimaginable to the kind and caring people of this world.
We want to remind everyone that if you or your children hear or see something threatening, please report it. The District continues to work with local law enforcement who will provide additional coverage at our schools for the remainder of the school year.
Our counselors, social workers and entire staff are always available should students need additional support. We are resolved to the safety of our students and staff and will remain vigilant in our safety protocols. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together to keep our schools safe.
