Sherry Zayac's HS childhood development class has been spending time volunteering in elementary classrooms to observe development at various ages. Today they visited pre-k students where they worked on both fine and gross motor skills together!

Thank you to the reenactors from the Rochester Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) Chapter who took time to visit our 7th grade social studies classes! Students learned about what life was like during the Revolutionary War, how to discover if their relatives had any ties to the war, and got to see artifacts first hand and learn about their purposes.

Albion middle students Luci and Sutton have been hard at work on an impressive Revolutionary War research project in partnership with Orleans County. As a result of their research, they've been able to obtain multiple roadside markers, gravestone flag markers and a replace a damaged gravestone. The markers will be installed ahead of a community ceremony in the spring to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States and to honor Revolutionary War soldiers buried locally.

That is a wrap on our holiday concerts! HS musicians did a wonderful job last night. Congrats to all on their performances and thank you to all who came out to support.🎼❄️
Our JV and varsity cheerleaders are working on their CPR and AED certifications through the American Heart Association in partnership with the Buffalo Bills and Project Play. They are pictured learning proper CPR technique. What a great opportunity!

Elementary students had a successful first SOAR Assembly of the school year. Special congratulations to our newest Safety Patrol members who were sworn in by Deputy Stornelli. Thank you to our cheerleaders for bringing the energy and the Events Student Action Team for their hard work organizing and leading the assembly! 🦅

Ms. Messmer's 8th grade science classes have been getting creative with their Rube Goldberg projects. Teams were challenged with designing and building their own machine that accomplishes a task that involves at least 5 steps. In doing so, they exercised their problem solving and communication skills while making great connections with their force and motion knowledge.
