Reminder for Juniors: The Counseling Office is administering the PSAT (practice SAT) on Thursday, October 22 from 8-11:00 a.m. in the LGI. The cost of the test is $18 and payment is due upon sign-up. See Mrs. Garlipp in the Counseling Office for more information or to sign up.
On Oct. 3, Albion's soccer program will host its annual Super Soccer Saturday with home contests all day long. Concessions will be open and benefit the Albion Soccer Club. Come support your Purple Eagles! ⚽
Friendly competition is underway at the elementary school! Our ES classrooms were sorted into six Eagle Habit Houses for a new challenge this school year. Each house will work together throughout the year to demonstrate the leadership qualities that we want to see in our Purple Eagles. Staff are able to award House Points when they see students being positive examples. There will be additional special challenges throughout the year for students to earn points and show their House pride. House Point totals are displayed on the TV screens throughout the school so students can keep an eye on where their house ranks each week.
We are excited to see how this approach helps students understand that every choice matters, every voice matters, and everyone has a role to play in helping their House and their school SOAR!

Kamie Feder's 8th grade Art Enrichment class is partnering with the Village to help beautify Albion. Students are pictured discussing mural design concepts for Veterans Park with Mayor Tim McMurray and presenting their design at the Village board meeting. Stay tuned to see it come to life!

Orleans County will be holding its Annual 9/11 Remembrance Service on Friday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Orleans County Courthouse Square in Albion. We encourage you to consider attending to remember the victims, honor the heroes, and help your children understand the tragedy that took place on that day.
