Middle school students had fun participating in cosmic-themed bowling to wrap up their bowling unit. This is the second year the school has taught bowling in middle school PE classes thanks to a grant from Bowler's Ed, which provided funding for bowling equipment and curriculum.
Albion was one of 13 schools to be awarded the grant. The district is excited for students to be able to learn a lifelong skill, as well as incorporate the equipment into family engagement events throughout the year. The bowling unit will also serve as a great segue for students interested in competing on the Unified Bowling team in high school.

Kindergarteners recently visited Medina Hospital for the Teddy Bear Clinic! While there, they visited the pharmacy and talked about medicine safety. They visited the x ray department and looked at several different x rays. They even got to bring their stuffed animals to the nurses to help address any injuries or illnesses. The clinic helps to minimize any fear of medical professionals and the hospital environment, and to teach healthy habits. 🩺🏥

Highlights from the varsity swimming Senior Night meet. Congratulations to Justin!
A special thank you goes to Coach Jay Kovaleski who will be retiring at the end of this school year. This will be his last swim season after coaching our Purple Eagles for 22 years.

Thank you to the reenactors from the Rochester Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) Chapter who took time to visit our 7th grade social studies classes! Students learned about what life was like during the Revolutionary War, how to discover if their relatives had any ties to the war, and got to see artifacts first hand and learn about their purposes.
