Albion HS Interact Club members volunteered at the Wreaths Across America event at Mt. Albion Cemetery where 360 wreaths were laid at veterans graves. 💜💛




Many Albion 10th graders toured the O/N BOCES' Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center on Friday to learn more about the 20+ vocational programs offered, including HVAC and Fire Science, two of the newest offerings.
There are nearly 100 Albion students currently enrolled in a BOCES CTE program, they spend part of their school day at the center learning skills in Automotive Technology, Animal Science, Welding, Personal Training, Cosmetology and much more!

Students from Mrs. Feder’s middle school art classes recently painted a “chapel thermometer” to gauge community giving toward the Mt. Albion Cemetery chapel repair. Great work!🎨⛪

The local American Legion Oratorical Contest was recently held at Albion High School where students prepared and presented speeches on topics related to the U.S. Constitution. Congratulations to (pictured front row from left): Aubrey (1st place), D (2nd place), Neveya (3rd place), Cordelia (4th place), and Ava (5th place). They are pictured with American Legion and Legion Auxiliary judges and organizers. The top place finishers will go on to compete at the county level contest at Kendall High School on December 12th. National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) students wrapped-up their Annual Food Drive last week. They donated all collected items to the Community Action of Orleans & Genesee in Albion to help those in need ahead of the holiday season. There are so many fantastic displays of leadership and service going on in our buildings!

Kindergarteners had their own "Balloons Over Albion" parade, Kathy Winans and Sheri Berg's students prepared a fantastic feast together, and many grade levels and classes gathered for celebrations of their own!
Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving Recess! School will resume on Monday, Dec. 1.
Students from the Middle School History Club got a tour of the Orleans County courthouse by Associate Court Attorney Kathy Harling, and learned about the many court procedures and operations. They also met with County Judge Sanford Church to discuss his multi-faceted role as judge over county, family, and surrogate court.


The Albion Science Olympiad Team recently got to visit the Niagara Power Vista, Goat Island, The Adams Power Plant Transformer House (which was a crucial part of the first large-scale AC hydroelectric power station in the world.), the Locks at Lockport and the Big Bridge! What an awesome learning experience!
